We know that when you buy on line there is nothing worse than hidden and unexpected delivery charges and we are doing our best to provide clear and cost effective delivery options to all of our customers.

Delivery to Destinations within the UK

All orders delivered to mainland UK Destinations are delivered free of charge for orders over £10 using our Standard Delivery Service (see below). This excludes the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland. A charge of £5 is made for our Priority Delivery Service, which guarantees delivery within 1-2 days.

• Standard Delivery is 3-4 working days and is available for all of our products available to purchase online. This is based on Royal Mail 2^nd Class Post or a courier service (currently Parcel Force). This service is available for all UK Destinations (excluding the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highland and Islands and Nothern Ireland). For orders below £10 a £3 charge applies.

• Priority Delivery– a charge of £5 is made for orders that are required to be delivered within 1-2 days. These will either be sent via Royal Mail 1^st Class (signed for) or a courier service (currently DHL). This service is available for all UK Destinations (excluding the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highland and Islands and Nothern Ireland).

• Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland: The service offered depends on the size of the items ordered. Smaller orders that can be sent using Royal Mail can be sent free of charge using our Standard Delivery Service. If you believe that your order is small enough to be sent this way then please contact us and we can advise. The delivery cost for larger items, which are sent by courier, is £5 oe £10 for the Channel Islands.

Delivery to International Destinations

International Delivery is charged by both weight and dimensions and by destination. It is not currently possible to offer a cost effective automated or flat rate delivery charge for International Delivery. Instead we have implemented an automated no obligation international delivery quotation service that allows us to offer the most competitive rate based on your order.

To access this service, please follow the normal shopping procedure. Once logged in and at the checkout you will be offered an International Delivery Quote option as soon as the delivery address is to an international destination. All you need to do is the confirm your request for an International Delivery quotation. No credit/debit card details are required at this stage.

UK VAT (currently charged at 20%) does not apply to destinations outside of the EU. The prices shown on our Online Shop are VAT Inclusive and should be reduced to VAT exclusive prices once delivery to a non-EU destination has been selected. Books and Children's clothes are zero rate VAT items and hence the price of these items is the same for non-EU destinations.

Once an international order request has been received. we will allocate stock to your order, calculate the delivery charge and advise you by Email. The Email will contain a link back to our website which allows you to accept or decline the quotation. If you accept our quotation then payment by credit/debit card will then be required, and the order despatched. You have 48 hours to respond to our quotation before the stock is deallocated and returned to the sale floor.
