Is my credit/debit card data safe?
Back

We take data security very seriously and your card details should be as safe as it is technically possible to make them. Our web server supports strong encryption and this is used to protect all data exchanged with us while logged into your account. Look for the padlock symbol at the bottom right of your browser. This tells you that an encrypted data session is in progress.

Once we receive your credit/debit card details, they are never saved in anything other than an encrypted format. Indeed, while our public web server has the means to encrypt this information, it does not have the information necessary to decrypt it, protecting your information in the unlikely event that this server is compromised.

When your order is processed, your credit/debit card details are displayed on a screen so that they can be processed and payment taken. However, they are never printed out.

Your payment information is removed from our system as soon as authorisation has taken place. This is a requirement of the credit card industry.
