We took full advantage of this yesterday and had a day out in London which combined work and pleasure. Our first port of call was the Baby Show for Trade exhibition at Olympia, where we saw a few things that we may have in the shop next year, and also chatted with some of our regular suppliers. Then we headed for the number 9 bus (a route we know well from when we lived in Barnes, a long time ago...) and had a lovely ride in to central London along Kensington High Street, Knightsbridge and Piccadilly. London was bathed in sunshine, the parks looked lovely and there were lots of people out and about.

From there we took the tube to Camden Town, which neither of us had visited before. We went to see Alex and his friends' performance of 'Choose Death' - a comedy sketch show that they had great reviews for at the Edinburgh Festival. It was the last performance of this particular show, so lots of friends and family were there. We both really enjoyed it, and hopefully will get to see more of Casual Violence (yes, that is their name, I've no idea why!)'s work in the future.

There was just time for a meal out with Alex before catching the train home - Alex to Brighton (he had to be up at 6 this morning to travel to the school where he is doing teaching practice at the moment) and us back to Winchester. Needless to say we're rather weary today...
